Job Description
BI Developer building Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and React solutions for CSpring’s data strategy consulting clients. Improving health and human services programs through advanced analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop complex business intelligence solutions and support data strategy
- Identify and inform opportunities and risks using subject matter expertise
- Develop complex dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data analyses
- Create and maintain a web-based portal using React
- Improve health and human services program delivery using advanced analytics, algorithms, data visualizations, and maps
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to create data marts in Teradata
- Run complex ad hoc SQL and reports using claims, beneficiary, and provider data
- Participate in project discussions and document or recommend alternative technical solutions and requirements
- Participate in unit, integration, and system testing
- Maintain communication and relationships with project stakeholders
- Gather business requirements and prepare analyses evaluating program effectiveness and efficiency
- Perform peer reviews and provide technical support and guidance to the project team
- Support project planning and execution, including presentations, risk and issue tracking, and status reporting
- Demonstrate deliverables to teams and customers to gain approval and buy-in
- Collaborate with DBAs, data modelers, and application/system administrators to maintain Teradata and application server hardware and software, including patches, fixes, and upgrades
- Lead industry-level standards and best practices
Requirements:
- More than five years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining complex Tableau and MS Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and analytics
- More than five years of experience developing complex SQL scripts using Teradata, DB2, or Oracle Load Utilities, or stored procedures
- At least four years of experience with complex development using React, React.js, or ReactJS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- End-client-facing skills
- Team collaboration and mentoring skills
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or Business Technology
- More than two years of experience analyzing and delivering complex analytics using Medicaid claims and enrollment data
- At least two years of data warehouse project experience
- More than two years of Tableau Server administrative experience
- Experience in SAP Business Objects
- Experience developing using Base SAS, SAS Analytics, or SAS Enterprise Guide
- Experience with State Medicaid, Medicare, or the healthcare industry
