Job Description
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst developing Power BI dashboards, data models, and SQL analytics for Quantix Supply Chain Solutions. Supporting supply chain divisions, Finance, EDW integration, and AI-assisted reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Lead dashboard builds for assigned divisions from requirements gathering through UAT and go-live
- Build and maintain Power BI data models, calculated measures, and DAX/M logic
- Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability
- Configure and maintain Power BI row-level security roles
- Train and support business users on Power BI usage, report navigation, and best practices
- Perform ad hoc data mining and analysis for division leadership
- Validate report and dashboard data accuracy and integrity
- Partner with Finance and division leadership to define data requirements and technical solutions
- Build development-environment tables to test and validate data with the EDW Architect before production promotion
- Define and document data definitions and business rules for assigned divisions
- Maintain documentation of business rules, field definitions, and reporting logic
- Participate in data quality validation and flag data integrity issues
- Coordinate with the EDW Architect on pipeline design and technical documentation
- Support AI-assisted analytics initiatives on the Quantix EDW, including data preparation and integration of AI outputs into dashboards
- Identify opportunities for advanced analytics to improve reporting and operational insight
- Gather stakeholder requirements and deliver customized analytics solutions
- Communicate findings, data limitations, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Serve as a technical resource and guide to junior BI analysts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field — or demonstrated equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, M, report and dashboard development, and row-level security
- 5+ years of experience writing SQL in a complex relational database environment, including joins, aggregations, window functions, subqueries, and query optimization
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines
- Highly motivated, proactive self-starter; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or Microsoft Fabric
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema and dimensional modeling
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain industries
- Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik
- Relevant Power BI certifications
- MBA or advanced degree
