Job Description
Mobile Phlebotomist responsible for blood procurement from home-bound patients at PTI Health. Attention to detail and compassion are critical for this full-time position in Trenton, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patients with the highest level of care
- Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior
- Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PTI Mobile Lab and our partners
- Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures
- Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required)
- Transport specimens to local lab or PSC for processing
- Work Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays, typically 7 am to 3 pm
Requirements:
- Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy
- Experience using a smartphone, computer, and office printer
- Reliable, efficient transportation with valid driver license and proof of current liability insurance
- Minimum two (2) years of experience
- Mobile Phlebotomy experience a plus
