Job Description
Mobile Phlebotomist responsible for the procurement of laboratory specimens from home-bound patients. Joining PTI Health in providing high-quality patient care without weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patients with the highest level of care.
- Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior.
- Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PTI Mobile Lab and our partners.
- Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures.
- Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required).
- Transport specimens to local lab or PSC for processing.
- Work Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays, typically starting 7 am and ending 3 pm.
Requirements:
- Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience.
- Experience using a smartphone, computer, and office printer.
- Reliable, efficient transportation with valid driver license and proof of current liability insurance.
- Mobile Phlebotomy experience a plus.
