Job Description

Platform Engineer SRE operando AWS, Kubernetes e GitOps para a Cortex. Construindo automações self-service e infraestrutura para sua plataforma SaaS de inteligência de mercado.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and operate workloads on Kubernetes/EKS clusters
  • Apply best practices for operations, scalability using Karpenter and Spot Instances, resilience, and monitoring
  • Build and evolve engineering automation, including a service catalog and templates
  • Reduce the time between code completion and production deployment
  • Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS provisioning
  • Pursue immutable, version-controlled infrastructure managed through a GitOps workflow
  • Evolve the CI/CD pipeline with continuous delivery through ArgoCD
  • Perform safe, reversible, and observable deployments
  • Develop automations, internal tools, and applications to eliminate operational toil
  • Transform manual infrastructure requests into self-service capabilities for squads
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and observability stacks for applications and databases
  • Implement cloud security and governance guardrails
  • Resolve infrastructure incidents, contributing to mitigation, response, and root cause analysis
  • Turn incident learnings into platform improvements
  • Write and review infrastructure code
  • Conduct code reviews and pair programming
  • Document architecture decisions and infrastructure usage patterns
  • Work with product, development, and InfoSec squads to align solutions and deliveries

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience implementing and operating Kubernetes clusters, preferably EKS
  • Experience with Helm, scaling, ingress/ALB, resource management, and Kubernetes troubleshooting
  • Use of AI in developing automations and internal applications and supporting operations
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud, particularly compute, networking, storage, IAM, and databases
  • Experience implementing AWS infrastructure with Terraform and evolving reusable modules
  • Knowledge of implementing and operating databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch
  • Experience creating and evolving CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery with ArgoCD in a GitOps workflow
  • Ability to develop automations, scripts, and applications in Python, Go, and Bash
  • Strong version control and testing practices
  • Product mindset with a focus on infrastructure usability and documentation
  • Knowledge of the Twelve-Factor App methodology and AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Familiarity with microservices and REST API architecture patterns
  • Ability to implement, define standards for, and use monitoring and observability services
  • Data- and metrics-driven approach to solving performance and scalability problems
  • Initiative to identify infrastructure and database issues and propose data-driven solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineering teams
  • AWS certification is a plus
  • Experience with infrastructure as a product/Platform Engineering is a plus
  • Experience with Backstage or another Internal Developer Portal is a plus
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies/FinOps is a plus
