Job Description
SAP FI/CO Principal Consultant leading S/4HANA transformations and finance consulting projects. Shaping SAP solutions, client relationships, mentoring, and Avvale’s digital transformation portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Take functional responsibility for complex SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA projects, from analysis and conceptual design through implementation
- Provide strategic and functional advice to clients on optimizing and digitalizing their Finance and Controlling processes
- Design holistic SAP solution architectures and sustainable solution concepts
- Independently manage complex workstreams and take a leading role at the interface between business units, IT, and project management
- Support S/4HANA transformations and migrations
- Serve as a trusted functional advisor to clients and build long-term customer relationships
- Support presales activities, workshops, proposals, and the development of new consulting approaches and business opportunities
- Provide functional mentoring to Consultants and Senior Consultants
- Collaborate with national and international teams and contribute best practices and emerging SAP technologies
- Further develop the SAP FI/CO portfolio and consulting services
Requirements:
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of substantial professional experience in SAP consulting, specializing in SAP FI and/or CO
- In-depth knowledge of finance and controlling business processes and their mapping in SAP
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, ideally gained through several implementation, transformation, or migration projects
- Experience providing functional leadership to project teams or workstreams and managing complex client requirements
- Ability to analyze complex functional and technical interrelationships and develop sustainable solution concepts
- Confident presence at client and management level, combined with strong consulting and communication skills
- Experience in presales, proposal preparation, or business development is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and providing functional guidance to less experienced colleagues
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Structured, independent working style with strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
