Job Description
Private Investigator conducting surveillance and factual investigations for Delta Group, a national insurance-claims investigative firm. Reviewing video, researching social media, documenting subjects covertly, and preparing detailed reports for workers’ compensation and liability claims.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveillance on Liability and Work Comp Insurance claims
- Collect factual data through ethical and professional investigative work
- Travel to different locations for investigations, including driving, walking, or using public transportation
- Maintain visual focus during extended surveillance activities
- Navigate urban, rural, and indoor environments
- Review and dissect comprehensive reports and Police reports
- Write detailed surveillance reports to Company Standards
- Review video to properly prepare reports
- Covertly document subjects without being detected
- Search, locate, and utilize social media throughout the investigative process
- React quickly and use good judgment during surveillance scenarios
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age, unless otherwise stated by State Licensure Laws
- Associate degree or comparable field experience preferred
- Must pass background check
- Must pass a clean driving record
- Must be willing to obtain investigator licensing within your home state
- Diligent
- Ability to sit in a vehicle or other stationary positions for up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to travel to different investigation locations
- Ability to navigate urban, rural, and indoor environments
- Ability to review and dissect comprehensive reports and Police reports
- Ability to write detailed surveillance reports to Company Standards
- Ability to review video for report preparation
- Ability to covertly document a subject without detection
- Ability to search, locate, and utilize social media
- Ability to react quickly and use good judgment
- Knowledge of pretexting preferred
- Ability to think outside the box
