Job Description
Surveillance Investigator conducting covert investigations for DigiStream Investigations, a national private investigation firm. Monitoring subjects, capturing video evidence, writing reports, and traveling throughout the greater Atlanta region.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, follow, and videotape subjects during their day-to-day activities
- Conduct vehicle and foot pursuits while maintaining cover
- Film subjects in varied locations, including grocery stores, restaurants, sporting events, and casinos
- Craft pre-surveillance strategies based on setup location and case details
- Write detailed reports on observed and captured activities
- Submit video evidence
- Communicate regularly with the team leader about setup positions, activity, and tactics
- Travel to and stay overnight at remote assignments when required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must currently live in the greater Atlanta, GA region
- Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to start as early as 5:00 am daily, with occasional evening work
- Average schedule of 50 hours per week, including paid commute and drive time
- Ability to work a 5-day schedule averaging 10–12 hours per day
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments
- Ability to pass a DMV check and background check
- Confident driving skills
