Job Description
Surveillance Investigator conducting covert investigations for DigiStream, a national private investigation firm. Monitoring subjects, recording video evidence, writing reports, and traveling to assignments from a home-based vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, follow, and videotape subjects during their day-to-day activities
- Pursue subjects by vehicle and on foot while maintaining cover
- Film subjects in varied locations including grocery stores, restaurants, sporting events, and casinos
- Craft pre-surveillance strategies based on setup location and case details
- Write detailed reports on observed or captured activities and submit video evidence
- Communicate regularly with the team leader regarding setup positions, activity, and tactics
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years or older
- Average availability of 50 hours per week, including paid commute and drive time
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments
- Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to start work as early as 5:00 am daily, with occasional evening work
- Must currently live in the greater Greenville area
- Ability to pass DMV check and background check
- Confident driving skills
- Must be able to work a 5-day-per-week schedule averaging 10–12 hours per day
- Ability to conduct covert surveillance and maintain cover
