Job Description
Product Manager responsible for building product portfolio for North American data center market. Collaborating with global teams on product development and market strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the build-up of a dedicated new product and solution portfolio for the North American data center market and applications
- Support & participate in UL product & safety standardization efforts and certifications
- Conduct business & market intelligence
- Ensure the transfer of technical and application know-how across the group
- Contribute to the development of the PTD market and support the expansion of the customer base
- Close cooperation with global Product Managers, Engineers, Sales & business development
- Create market and competitor analyses and market strategies
- Create and maintain the PTD product roadmap
- Manage technical documentation for existing and new products
- Incorporate market and customer analyses into the product lifecycle
- Participate in and manage product development projects
- Develop sales-oriented training and presentation materials
- Organize and support training sessions, workshops, etc.
- Support Marketing Communications in technical and general content design
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering with experience in sales, marketing and/or project management
- Experience with complex electrical power connectors and/or systems
- Experience with UL certifications and standards
- Proficiency in Office 365, CRM (e.g. Aurea), ERP (e.g. SAP)
- English native speaker or similar level of language proficiency.
- Additional languages an advantage
- Outgoing, sales-oriented, and internationally experienced personality
- Independent work style, flexibility, organizational skills, and a confident demeanor
- Open and clear communication skills
- Ability to think holistically
- High level of commitment and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%)
