Job Description

Insurance broker handling client inquiries and issuing policies, working fully remote or in Montreal. Building the future of insurance by combining technology and human expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Issue insurance policies with multiple insurers for clients who purchased online
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in the issuance of all policies
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective clients
  • Provide information about our services to complete sales
  • Identify and contact potential customers who submitted a quote on our website
  • Initiate conversations to close sales
  • Communicate effectively by phone, email, and SMS to build a trusting, positive relationship with prospective clients
  • Maintain accurate notes of client interactions and follow-up activities in our CRM
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve team targets
  • Participate in developing strategies to boost our sales
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends
  • Attend training sessions and professional development activities
  • Progress to a senior role on our insurance team or to a team lead position after your first two years with us

Requirements:

  • You hold a valid AMF licence
  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a broker or agent
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • You are proactive and have strong problem-solving skills
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills in French and English
  • You are a quick learner and have an interest in technology
