Job Description

QA & Testing Lead owning quality assurance for digital banking and payment platforms. Leading QA teams and defining testing strategies in a remote setting from India.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end quality assurance for large-scale digital banking and payment platforms.
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve the overall QA and testing strategy.
  • Lead automation, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing initiatives.
  • Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing for mission-critical, high-throughput systems.
  • Ensure quality across USSD applications, web portals, APIs, and ISO-based transaction switch platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage teams of manual and automation QA engineers.
  • Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Drive release readiness activities, including defect triage, quality metrics, and risk assessment reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to align on quality goals.
  • Ensure testing best practices, documentation, and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of overall experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • 5+ years of experience in a QA Lead or Test Lead role managing complex systems.
  • Strong experience in digital banking, fintech, or payment processing systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, Postman, and Cucumber.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Strong knowledge of API and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging and TCP/IP-based transaction systems (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, and Maven.
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes environments is a plus.
