Job Description

Regional Sales Manager responsible for establishing relationships with agencies for United Automobile Insurance Company. Focused on revenue generation and client engagement in South Florida region.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with independent agencies within your designated territory.
  • Identify decision makers and key contacts within the agency.
  • Ensure that agencies are aware of our contact information and the departments responsible for specific inquiries.
  • Familiarize yourself with the agency's history and operations.
  • Assess opportunities for growth and profitability within the agency.
  • Analyze the agency's size, business volume, target customer base, lead generation methods, and more.
  • Establish clear commitments mutually agreed upon by both parties.
  • Define specific timelines and measurable outcomes for the agreed-upon commitment.
  • Conduct 16-20 unique in-person sales calls per week.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in business, Communications, Marketing, a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance 220 license preferred but not required.
  • 3 years of proven experience in field sales or a related role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Bilingual fluency preferred but not required: English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales-related technologies.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented individual with a passion for sales.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
