Job Description
Sales Development Representative generating qualified leads for RRD’s marketing, packaging, print, and supply-chain solutions. Conducting targeted outreach, researching prospects, and booking discovery meetings for sales executives.
Responsibilities:
- Set qualified appointments with new clients to drive sales growth
- Funnel leads to sales representatives for further qualification and closing
- Initiate contact with prospective clients using proven prospecting techniques
- Generate interest in discovery meetings with RRD Sales Executives
- Identify multiple contact points within supplied target lists
- Position the value proposition of RRD products and services
- Conduct online research into prospects' business objectives
- Generate a high-value sales pipeline through strategic and targeted prospecting
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop target prospect lists
- Develop and manage a prospect pipeline while providing a strong customer experience
- Transition leads smoothly to the sales team following the first discovery meeting
- Use Salesforce for all lead-generation activities
- Meet with Sales Leaders to evaluate strategy
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; minimum high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of sales and telemarketing experience with an emphasis on cold calling
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales technology tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in prospecting techniques and lead-generation strategies
- Experience using email, phone, and social media for outreach
- Strong research skills for identifying potential clients and understanding business needs
- Ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and evolving sales strategies
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background and drug screen
- Ability to work in the PST time zone
