Job Description

Mass Spec Product Specialist driving sales growth through Agilent Mass Spectrometry systems. Engage and expand customer base with innovative strategies in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the adoption of Agilent Mass Spectrometry systems and workflows
  • Manage assigned accounts and regions while identifying strategic partners
  • Represent Agilent at local technical shows and industry conferences
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Agilent's product portfolio
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Deliver seminars to educate and attract new customers
  • Provide market and product feedback to R&D for improvement

Requirements:

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Industry and/or academic experience with LCMS and/or GCMS
  • 4+ years of experience in application support
  • 4+ years of sales experience in the life science industry
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of strategic selling principles
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workflows
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and means of personal transportation
