Job Description
Integration Consultant specializing in SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI for cloud projects. Transitioning from advisory roles to integration architecture responsibilities with a focus on enterprise integration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, conception and implementation of integration scenarios based on SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI in complex SAP and hybrid landscapes.
- Analysis of existing interface landscapes and modernization towards cloud- and API-based integration architectures.
- Support for rollout, migration and transformation projects at well-known clients from requirements gathering through go-live.
- Close collaboration with business units and IT; advising on integration strategies, best practices, and security and governance aspects.
- Progressive takeover of architectural responsibilities: developing integration blueprints, reference architectures and technology guidelines.
Requirements:
- Several years of hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO, ideally complemented by SAP CPI in cloud or hybrid scenarios.
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, mapping techniques, adapters, monitoring and error handling in the SAP integration environment.
- Good understanding of end-to-end business processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, logistics or production processes).
- Strong analytical skills, enjoyment of technical consulting and a desire to take on responsibilities toward architecture.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.
