Job Description
Join Syntax as an SAP BASIS Intern, assisting in SAP administration and supporting system monitoring. Gain hands-on experience in a global IT environment with a focus on SAP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, and related modules)
- Support the daily monitoring and administration of SAP environments, including database and system health checks
- Help with user management, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems
- Assist in SAP transport management and system updates/upgrades
- Support the BASIS team in troubleshooting system issues and performance optimization
- Participate in documentation of procedures, configurations, and system changes
- Learn and follow ITIL processes and company IT policies
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Basic understanding of SAP architecture and concepts is a plus
- Familiarity with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA) is an advantage
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills in English and/or local language
- Team player with a proactive attitude
