Job Description
Security Engineer securing Azure cloud infrastructure for Neko Health, a healthcare technology firm. Implementing security measures and compliance in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Harden and secure Azure resources (VMs, storage, databases)
- Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel for threat detection
- Develop and enforce policy-as-code for cloud deployments (Terraform, ARM templates)
- Conduct architecture reviews and threat modelling for cloud services
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into infrastructure-as-code
- Support incident response for cloud-related events and produce audit-ready evidence
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel)
- Strong understanding of IAM, least privilege, and identity protection in cloud environments
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM)
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR integration and cloud monitoring
