Job Description
Social Security Disability Claims Case Manager at Mindset assisting clients with claims application processes. Responsible for gathering documentation and advocating for clients' claims.
Responsibilities:
- Gather required documentation and information from clients to support their claims
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process which can be lengthy
- Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure that their claims are processed accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with social security administration officials to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
- Keep detailed records of client interactions and claim status updates
- Stay up-to-date on changes to social security policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working with social security claims or similar benefits programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate support
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of social security policies and procedures (preferred)
