Job Description

Lead Technical Consultant managing Cyber Defense projects across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Responsible for technical implementation and innovation in Cyber Defense architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Independent planning and implementation of Cyber Defense projects in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for well-known large and medium-sized companies
  • Technical implementation of managed service projects and acting as a trusted advisor on Cyber Defense topics (SOAR, XDR, Threat Management, SIEM/SOC)
  • Design of scalable, future-proof Cyber Defense architectures and end-to-end implementation into production-ready, resilient solutions
  • Analysis of threat landscapes and assessment of an organization's security maturity using established frameworks and controls (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Development and implementation of use cases, playbooks and incident response processes to effectively defend against cyber attacks
  • Active leadership role in cross-functional collaboration

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in cyber security architectures, networking, firewalls, proxies, remote access, Linux, and perimeter security
  • Several years of project experience deploying SIEM and XDR solutions (e.g., Palo Alto XSIAM, Splunk, Elastic SIEM, Exabeam, Azure Sentinel or similar)
  • Very good knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: Network Detection & Response (e.g., ExtraHop, Vectra AI), Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) (e.g., Palo Alto XSOAR, Swimlane), Threat Intelligence (e.g., MISP)
  • Ideally, experience with (cloud) security logging and monitoring (e.g., Cribl)
  • Motivated with an interest in new topics and innovations in Cyber Defense
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently, trustworthy and discreet
