Job Description
Security System Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems at Honeywell in Newcastle, Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of Honeywell and third-party security system equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification
- Provide technical support on system operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations
- Work collaboratively with team members and adhere to safety protocols
- Manage minor project works and engage sub-contractors
Requirements:
- Technical experience with security systems preferred
- NSW Drivers License
- Trade qualification in Electrotechnology field desirable
- Ability to gain NSW Security License (2C)
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, schedules and wiring diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of IP networking
