Job Description

Security System Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems at Honeywell in Newcastle, Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and configuration of Honeywell and third-party security system equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification
  • Provide technical support on system operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations
  • Work collaboratively with team members and adhere to safety protocols
  • Manage minor project works and engage sub-contractors

Requirements:

  • Technical experience with security systems preferred
  • NSW Drivers License
  • Trade qualification in Electrotechnology field desirable
  • Ability to gain NSW Security License (2C)
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings, schedules and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of IP networking
