Job Description
Senior Account Manager expanding Esri’s GIS technology adoption among Architecture, Engineering, and Construction organizations. Building enterprise relationships, account strategies, and revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations
- Create new opportunities within high-level accounts and deepen customer relationships
- Participate in and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars
- Identify key stakeholders and business drivers and gain access to executive, enterprise-level decision makers
- Understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes
- Articulate the strength and value of Esri technology for the AEC industry
- Conduct research and pursue professional development
- Use whiteboarding and presentation skills to support visual storytelling
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals
- Evaluate work based on its contribution to customer needs
- Lead account strategies in collaboration with teams across Esri and business partners
- Share knowledge, support, and mentor team members
- Take initiative to resolve issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers
- Financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies
- Advanced knowledge of the AEC consultancy space and new technology trends
- Ability to translate AEC knowledge and technology trends into complex customer solutions
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and AEC design and consulting
- Expert visual storytelling and negotiation skills across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related AEC field
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available
- General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis (recommended)
- Master’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related AEC field (recommended)
