Job Description
Senior Android Engineer at Zipdev designing travel technology features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Collaborating cross-functionally while working remotely from LATAM.
Responsibilities:
- **Build the Future of Travel:** Design and build high-impact features for the consumer app using **Kotlin** and **Jetpack Compose**. You aren't just maintaining legacy code; you are building the next generation of travel tech.
- **Architect Excellence:** Champion modern Android architecture patterns (**MVVM, Clean Architecture**) to ensure our codebase is scalable, testable, and robust.
- **Bridge the Gap:** Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams. You will be the technical voice in the room, translating complex problems into elegant solutions for non-technical teammates.
- **Own the Experience:** You will be responsible for critical user journeys including authentication, profile management, and Rapid Rewards loyalty features.
Requirements:
- **The Veteran:** You have **8+ years of professional Android development experience**. You’ve seen it all, fixed it all, and shipped it all.
- **The Specialist:** Strong expertise in **Kotlin** and **Jetpack Compose** is non-negotiable.
- **Scale:** You have experience implementing new features on consumer-facing Android applications used by **millions of users**. You understand what "at scale" really means.
- Experience working in diverse backgrounds and have a communicative mindset.
- Teamworkers and highly adaptable members.
- Communication skills up top!
- Must be located in LATAM.
