Job Description
Senior Android Engineer at DuckDuckGo building privacy-focused applications for Android with full ownership of projects. Collaborating on secure app development and leading innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build secure, privacy-focused applications for Android devices
- Work on the Android Functional Team
- Lead projects related to Privacy Pro support, autofill improvements, and malware protection
Requirements:
- Extensive Android engineering background (7+ years)
- Solid experience programming in Kotlin
- Deep understanding of MV concepts, mobile threading, and memory management
- Understanding of complex data structures and algorithms
- Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative problem-solving and risk-taking
