Job Description
Senior Appian Developer supporting federal customers with high-performance IT solutions. Engaging in software development using Appian and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Support upcoming needs with federal customers
- Design, build, and operate high-performance IT engines to support client’s business
- Maintain appropriate certifications necessary for practice expertise
- Uphold and maintain expertise in low-code, open-source and cloud native solutions
- Participate in growth-related activities such as RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Math, Management Information Systems, or Related Field
- 3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies
- 3+ years of recent hands-on experience with Appian
- 2+ years of experience as a developer in designing, configuring, and debugging forms, reports, business logic, interface components and systems integrations
- 1+ year of experience with relational databases, DML and DDL SQL scripting
- Active Appian Certification is a strong plus
- Java developer experience is a strong plus
- Experience working with Appian Sites
- Recent work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting
- Experience with Agile Framework
- Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views
- Exposure to common industry platforms and programming languages – Appian, IBM WebSphere, Mule, LAMP/JBOSS, HADOOP, Java, Microsoft/.Net is preferred
- Experience configuring stored procedures
- US Citizenship or Green Card is required (required by the federal government for this position)
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
