Job Description
Senior Cloud Engineer responsible for developing AWS-based solutions. Collaborating with Cloud Architecture team to enhance infrastructure for medical innovations at Edwards Lifesciences.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new technologies and build effective solutions for robust solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of New Product Development (NPD) and other business requirements
- Develop and lead the implementation of portions of new cloud solutions in partnership with team members (e.g., Cloud Architects)
- Recommend Best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
- Identify IT Business processes impacting NPD and make recommendations for resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or technical field
- 4 years of experience in Cloud Computing or Software Engineering
- Experience writing scripts in Javascript, Python, BASH etc
- Full knowledge of DevOps principles
- Experience with AWS S3, Redshift, Azure DW, Azure Blob Storage
- Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes
- Full knowledge of IaC tool sets such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Powershell etc.
