Job Description
Azure Data Engineer designing and developing scalable data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. Requires expertise in Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics with extensive data engineering experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Design and implement data models and data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics
- Optimize SQL queries and perform performance tuning on large and complex datasets
- Work with Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services to support analytics and reporting needs
- Implement data security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and data masking
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Requirements:
- 6 to 8 years of experience with at least 1 year of recent Synapse experience
- Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, and ETL processes
- At least 1 year of recent experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, or Food & Beverage is a plus
Benefits:

- Must be available to work second shift to overlap with the U.S. team until 12:00 PM CST
- Six-month probation period prior to full-time confirmation
- Microsoft Azure certification preferred (not mandatory at hire)
