Job Description
Software Engineer digitizing and automating IT workflows with a focus on backend systems at Sonda. Working remotely, improving ITIL practices and integrating various IT tools.
Responsibilities:
- Digitize and automate IT team workflows using the ITSM tool and JavaScript development.
- Support ITSM tools and the technologies that underpin those tools.
- Propose improvements to ITIL practices.
- Support ITIL practice managers in improving processes.
- Integrate ITSM tools with other IT systems and tools.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in backend systems development.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
- Programming languages: JavaScript, Python.
- Debugging techniques and problem diagnosis.
- Basic knowledge of container technologies and container orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Development using agile methodologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- Knowledge of requirements elicitation and documentation techniques.
- Knowledge of business process elicitation and documentation techniques.
- Desirable technical knowledge: Power BI; PowerShell; experience with configuration management tools and techniques: Git; familiarity with Test-Driven Development; familiarity with code quality metrics; basic knowledge of User Experience (UX) techniques; ITIL v4.
