Job Description
Backend Engineer for JetBrains' Matter creating communication between product teams and development environments. Collaborating to enhance user experience through AI integration and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the communication layer between Matter and cloud-hosted development environments
- Build and maintain the proxying layer for secure site exposure
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver end-to-end features
- Ensure system reliability and scalability
Requirements:
- Experience in Java or Kotlin backend development
- Familiarity with network communications, including HTTP, TCP, and proxying
- Ability to write robust concurrent code
- Solid Linux/OS knowledge
- Experience in designing and operating distributed systems
- Enjoyment of cross-disciplinary collaboration with AI
