Job Description
Senior Designer creating brand identities, websites, campaigns, and launch experiences for Nen Creative’s technology startup clients. Owning concepts through delivery while collaborating with clients and creative teams.
Responsibilities:
- Create brand identities, visual systems, websites, campaigns, and launch experiences
- Develop distinctive creative directions from early exploration through fully realized systems
- Own projects and workstreams from concept through delivery
- Manage work effectively, anticipate next steps, and ensure details are completed
- Present work to clients and explain creative decisions
- Respond thoughtfully to feedback and build trust with founders and senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with creative leadership, strategists, developers, project managers, and other designers
- Provide thoughtful feedback and participate actively in critiques
- Improve the quality of the studio's work, creative process, and presentation
- Bring new references, ideas, techniques, and perspectives to the team
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of experience as a designer, ideally within a strong branding, design, or creative agency environment
- Exceptional design craft and taste
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, composition, visual systems, identity work, and digital design
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to turn concepts into cohesive visual systems
- High ownership and reliability
- Ability to present work, explain creative thinking, receive feedback, and navigate creative conversations professionally
- Ability to move fluidly between creative strategy and detailed execution
- Ambition, curiosity about design and culture, and drive to raise the quality of work
- Must be based in the US; candidates based outside the US are not accepted
- Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship is required
- Must be comfortable working late nights and weekends as needed
