Job Description

Senior DevOps Engineer at Gorilla Logic building infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. Collaborating with teams to ensure seamless deployment and security best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes and tools on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Set up and configure GCP services for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation.
  • Manage source code repositories using Git, and implement branching and merging strategies.
  • Ensure code versioning best practices are followed.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP tools such as Cloud Build.
  • Implement and optimize deployment strategies for applications on GCP.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Implement containerization using Docker.
  • Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes on GCP.
  • Set up monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Stackdriver or similar tools.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless integration and delivery process.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices in the DevOps pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in GCP services and tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with networking, security, and cloud best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
