Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer at Gorilla Logic building infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. Collaborating with teams to ensure seamless deployment and security best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes and tools on Google Cloud Platform.
- Set up and configure GCP services for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation.
- Manage source code repositories using Git, and implement branching and merging strategies.
- Ensure code versioning best practices are followed.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP tools such as Cloud Build.
- Implement and optimize deployment strategies for applications on GCP.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Implement containerization using Docker.
- Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes on GCP.
- Set up monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Stackdriver or similar tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless integration and delivery process.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce security best practices in the DevOps pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong proficiency in GCP services and tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with networking, security, and cloud best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
