Job Description
As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will architect and implement internal platforms for a cybersecurity startup. Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability while driving development efficiency through CI/CD.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions that support our cybersecurity products and services utilizing cloud technologies
- Implement and enhance automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to improve development efficiency and product reliability
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure best practices and security measures are implemented throughout the development and deployment process
- Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and potential threats proactively
- Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the performance, availability, and health of our applications and infrastructure
- Investigate and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and software configurations
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, processes, and best practices
Requirements:
- India-based Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (minimum of 8 years)
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and technologies in a fast-paced environment
- Functional knowledge of cloud computing concepts, experience with Google Cloud is a plus
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Go, or Ruby is advantageous
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar solution
- Containerized environments: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes or similar
- Linux operating systems: Debian and RHEL based distros primarily
