Job Description
DevOps Consultant automating CI/CD and infrastructure for FourEnergy’s software-development consulting clients. Monitoring cloud and on-premise systems while supporting agile delivery teams.
Responsibilities:
- Apply your DevOps expertise hands-on in customer projects
- Support customers throughout the entire development process
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Automate infrastructure management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Monitor and continuously optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructures
- Manage alerting, monitoring, and tracing
- Collaborate with developers and testers in agile, cross-functional teams using Scrum or Kanban
- Ensure the smooth operation of developed applications
- Represent the operations perspective to development teams, Product Owners, and other project stakeholders
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in DevOps, along with previous experience in Operations
- Degree in IT or a comparable qualification combined with relevant professional experience
- Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Linux, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift
- Programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Java
- Strong expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with microservice architectures and deployments on Kubernetes
- Very good understanding of network infrastructures, including routing, load balancing, and DNS
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and an open, collaborative approach with colleagues and customers
- Enthusiasm for consulting
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Goal-oriented, well-structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented
