Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS services. Collaborating with engineering teams on automated solutions and maintaining system security.
Responsibilities:
- Independently design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with talented engineering teams.
- Design, build, and manage advanced, secure AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery.
- Implement and manage a robust observability and monitoring stack (e.g., Grafana).
- Conduct performance and capacity engineering to ensure systems scale efficiently and reliably.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable automation scripts and tooling using Go, Python, and/or TypeScript.
- Champion technical excellence, enforce security and compliance standards, and participate in peer reviews.
- Continuously stay up-to-date on cloud-native trends and modern DevOps techniques.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Expert knowledge of AWS services, architecture patterns, and multi-account organization best practices.
- Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and secure network architecture.
- Deep understanding of modern CI/CD practices and a track record of building and managing pipelines.
- Demonstrated expertise in observability (e.g., Grafana stack), performance/capacity engineering, and defining/tracking SLOs.
- Hands-on programming experience (e.g., Go, Python, TypeScript) for building internal tools and automation.
- Expert-level Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Background in Computer Science or similar technical education is preferred.
- Multiple AWS Professional certifications are highly desired.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments, cloud cost optimization, and high-availability/disaster recovery planning is a strong plus.
