Job Description

Senior DevOps Engineer automating cloud and on-premise infrastructure for Keyfactor’s cryptographic identity security platform. Improving Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure automation and deployment processes
  • Architect and manage scalable containerization and orchestration solutions
  • Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery improvements
  • Monitor and enhance system performance, availability, and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation and deployment strategies
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code for consistent, reproducible environments
  • Build and maintain tools, processes, and environments enabling efficient software delivery
  • Support software releases and integration and delivery of software products
  • Maintain both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 4 or more years of relevant work experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps and Platform Engineering industry trends
  • Deep understanding of scripting, version control, and infrastructure best practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of system performance, security, and reliability
  • High-level proficiency in relevant tools and technologies
  • Advanced skills in infrastructure automation and deployment
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes
  • Experience optimizing and scaling CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to lead complex projects, drive strategic initiatives, and influence decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and lead initiatives
  • Knowledge of Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitLab, ArgoCD, Artifactory, and Ansible
