Job Description

Senior Director of Talent Management leading organizational people strategy at nonprofit Tides. Collaborating with leadership to ensure alignment within the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, steward, and continuously evolve the enterprise talent strategy
  • Integrate workforce strategy with enterprise planning cycles
  • Serve as a trusted executive and thought partner to senior leadership
  • Own and set direction for enterprise organizational development strategy
  • Lead culture, performance enablement, and values activation strategies
  • Design and embed scalable change management frameworks
  • Lead enterprise-wide organizational design efforts
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks
  • Partner closely with Total Rewards leadership
  • Collaborate with Finance and Strategy teams
  • Provide workforce leadership during restructuring
  • Lead labor relations strategy with a commitment to constructive, good-faith engagement
  • Partner with the lead negotiator on collective bargaining
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the collective bargaining agreement
  • Lead and oversee the full grievance lifecycle
  • Navigate complex employee relations matters
  • Ensure timely, objective, and fair investigations
  • Steward updates to people policies, procedures, and the employee handbook
  • Maintain strong partnerships with in-house and external employment and labor counsel
  • Sponsor enterprise-wide learning, leadership development, and performance enablement efforts
  • Ensure organizational development initiatives are integrated with broader people strategy
  • Define and steward the vision for performance enablement
  • Lead enterprise-wide culture, engagement, and organizational health assessments
  • Set and continuously refine the organization’s staffing and hiring strategy
  • Define the strategic and technical direction for the applicant tracking system
