Job Description
Senior Document Production Associate formatting complex legal documents, presentations, and reports for Williams Lea’s law-firm clients. Using advanced Microsoft Office and document-production expertise in a fully remote UK role.
Responsibilities:
- Produce, format and amend complex legal documents, presentations, spreadsheets and other client deliverables
- Use advanced Microsoft Office skills, including document styling, cross-referencing, numbering, document comparison, PDF manipulation and large document management
- Deliver accurate, timely and professional document production support while managing multiple requests and competing deadlines
- Ensure work complies with client requirements, house style guidelines, legal standards and document production best practices
- Perform thorough quality checks for accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues as a document production subject matter expert
- Troubleshoot document formatting and technical issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Support changing business priorities and service requirements
- Train on multiple clients and worktypes
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Extensive experience formatting complex documents and presentations
- Expert knowledge of document production techniques, including styles, numbering, cross-referencing, document comparison, PDF manipulation and large document management
- Strong understanding of legal document formatting, house styles and document best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex formatting and technical issues efficiently and accurately
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, using initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused approach and commitment to exceptional service
- High levels of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment is desirable
- Must be based in the UK
