Job Description
Research security consultant helping Huron’s higher education and healthcare clients improve export control, governance, and compliance. Leading complex projects and client work streams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project work streams for Huron clients to implement complex solutions in institutional governance and compliance
- Lead consulting projects focused on research security, export control, and institutional governance
- Utilize Huron methodologies and analytics tools
- Collaborate with university and healthcare leadership, client staff, and leadership
- Manage junior Huron team members
- Implement comprehensive solutions to improve administration processes related to research security
- Enhance organizational effectiveness and drive sustainable research security administration transformation and practices
Requirements:
- Current U.S. work authorization required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, Higher Education, Healthcare, or relevant work experience
- Direct experience working in a research security and/or export control office or function of a university, hospital, or research institute
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
- Export Compliance Professional (ECoP®) certification preferred
- Experience in secure research, conflicts of interest, conflicts of commitment, research operations, and/or regulatory compliance preferred
- Previous consulting experience preferred
