Job Description
Fullstack Developer developing applications using Java and React, focusing on Kafka for event-driven architecture in an agile environment. Must reside in India and have strong collaborative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java for the backend and modern frameworks such as React for the frontend.
- Build highly responsive user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend systems.
- Implement and maintain Kafka for building scalable and decoupled event-driven systems.
- Design and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth interaction between frontend applications and third-party services.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Ensure code quality and application performance through effective unit testing and performance optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above).
- Proficient in JavaScript and React.
- Experience with Spring Boot for creating microservices and web applications.
- Solid understanding of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- English proficiency is required for communication with US-based teams.
