Job Description
Senior Fullstack Developer (Node/React) at FCamara for a leading diagnostics firm in Latin America. Working remotely to drive tech innovation and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical and collaborative reference within the team, promoting knowledge sharing and development best practices.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of system architecture, ensuring technical decisions align with long-term objectives.
- Lead initiatives to improve quality and robustness, including promoting CI/CD practices, conducting code reviews, and adopting security principles (DevSecOps).
- Contribute to product strategy by participating in the definition of the technical roadmap and evaluating new technologies.
- Be an active agent in the continuous improvement of engineering processes, proposing and implementing improvements based on data and metrics.
- Contribute to the evolution of agile processes, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical refinements.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and other teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in gathering client requirements and provide technical project estimates.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend development using Node.js, with mastery of frameworks such as NestJS and Express.
- Experience in frontend development using React.js, including hooks, Context API, and componentization best practices.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and principles of functional and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
- Practical experience with automated testing (unit and integration) using Jest, Supertest, or equivalents.
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
