Job Description
Senior IT Data Architect providing technical leadership within the Data and Analytics organization for Rentokil family of companies. Translating enterprise data strategy into actionable technical roadmaps and overseeing a team of Data Architects.
Responsibilities:
- Serving as a key technical leader within the Data and Analytics organization
- Translate the Sr. Director’s enterprise data strategy into actionable technical roadmaps and architectural patterns
- Guide the development and lifecycle management of data solutions across reporting, predictive intelligence, and data science domains
- Lead the analysis and design of complex, high-impact projects, products, and shared infrastructure services
- Proactively identify and socialize opportunities to simplify or rationalize the data platform
- Supervise a team of 1–2 Data Architects
- Define and maintain architectural governance, data modeling standards, and security protocols
- Partner with the VP of Business Intelligence and IT Data Engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in data architecture or a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading architecture teams and managing the professional development of technical direct reports
- Proven history of interacting with executive leadership to communicate architectural roadmaps and influence strategic technical decisions
- Experience implementing modern data platforms and managing the end-to-end system development life cycle (SDLC)
- Practical experience working with one or more recognized architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
