Job Description
Senior Manager leading Group Tax function for GoGlobal, guiding tax compliance and strategy globally. Collaborating with finance and legal teams to optimize and ensure compliance with international tax laws.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Group Tax function, including compliance, planning, reporting, and advisory across APAC, Americas and EMEA .
- Develop and execute the group’s global tax strategy in alignment with business objectives, ensuring tax optimization and compliance across regions
- Design and review group transfer pricing policies and documentation, simulate tax implication with scenario modelling to support tax planning across regions
- Work closely with Group Treasury team to facilitate proper funding with strategic tax planning incorporate in funding policies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, regional, and international tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the Group’s global tax position and reduce risk.
- Provide strategic tax advice to senior leadership on business initiatives, transactions, and international operations.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and proactively advise the business on potential impact.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, tax authorities, and auditors.
- Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and business operations teams to ensure accurate reporting and alignment of tax strategy with business objectives.
- Oversee accurate and timely tax filings, audits, and reporting with local and regional tax authorities. Ensure alignment with global and local regulations, including APAC, Americas and EMEA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, preferably within multinational organizations.
- Strong understanding of international tax laws, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax implications.
- Proven experience in managing a tax team and working with external advisors.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide strategic business guidance.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive international tax experience, ideally within a multinational corporation and/or Big Four advisory environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in transfer pricing, cross-border taxation, and tax planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures and geographies.
- High level of business acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to translate complex tax issues into clear business insights.
