Job Description
Tax Programmer I designing, reviewing, and modifying programming systems for Taxwell's tax software. Serving customer support and ensuring functionality meets requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs
- Writes, tests, debugs, and maintains the detailed instructions that Drake tax software programs must follow to perform their functions
- Executes programmer-level (unit) testing to identify defects and confirm the software meets specifications
- Provides quick response to customer and support requests for assistance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Computer literacy required
- Practical experience writing code in Visual Basic, Power Basic, Turbo Basic, Quick Basic, C, C++ or a similar language
- Flexibility with hours during peak season required
