Job Description
Experienced Medical Writer for a 3-month contract at Red Nucleus. Collaborating on writing and editing medical communications in the life sciences industry.
Responsibilities:
- Researching, writing, and editing manuscripts, abstracts, slide presentations, posters, and other deliverables
- Collaborating on client projects that are highly visible in the medical field
- Delivering work by designated deadline and understanding the project development process
- Working well in a team environment (onsite and remote)
- Reviewing study data and distilling into thorough and well-written deliverables
Requirements:
- MD, PhD in the life sciences, or PharmD required
- 4 years of experience writing peer-reviewed publications, congress abstracts, posters, and slide decks in an agency setting
- Ability to independently write and edit scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and training materials
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in a virtual setting
- Outstanding organizational/time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Understanding of the AMA writing style
- Team player with a detail-oriented work ethic
