Job Description
Senior Mobile SDK Engineer building Unity SDK architecture, native bridges, and release tooling. Powering a mobile-gaming loyalty platform connecting players with games, friends, and rewards.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first dedicated engineer on the SDK
- Own SDK architecture, public API, releases, and partner experience end to end
- Design and build in-game placement components, app-to-app handoff, deep linking, and referral identifiers that survive store visits and installs
- Build iOS and Android native bridges, IL2CPP, Gradle and Xcode plugin plumbing, and SDK coexistence in builds
- Enforce size, cold-start, and frame-time budgets in CI
- Own versioning, UPM/Asset Store distribution, Unity LTS support, and migration paths
- Build the test surface, including a sample game, cross-version build verification, integration tests, debug mode, and documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years engineering experience
- Substantial Unity/C# experience shipped to iOS and Android
- Experience building or core-contributing to a library or SDK consumed by other developers
- Knowledge of API design and backward compatibility
- Deep knowledge of the Unity mobile build pipeline
- Comfortable with Kotlin/Java and Swift/Objective-C for building bridges and debugging platform behavior
- Profiling discipline
- Strong written English
- Nice to have: monetization SDK experience, such as offerwall, rewarded video, or mediation
- Nice to have: attribution and deep-linking experience at an MMP
- Nice to have: mobile game development or live-ops experience
- Nice to have: reward-fraud experience
