Job Description
Senior Python Engineer developing backend services for a data-intensive SaaS platform using Python and FastAPI. Collaborating on data workflows and integrating with AWS services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using **Python (FastAPI, async)**
- Work with **ETL pipelines** and data-heavy systems
- Participate in **Java → Python migration**
- Integrate backend services with **AWS (SQS, S3)**
- Collaborate on system design, performance, and reliability improvements
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience with **Python**
- **FastAPI** (or similar async frameworks) in production
- Solid understanding of **async / await**
- Experience with** PostgreSQL**
- Experience working with **ETL **or **data-intensive systems**
- Hands-on experience with **AWS**, especially** SQS**
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
- Production experience and ownership mindset
