Job Description
Scrum Master facilitating agile ceremonies and improving workflows at Grupo SysMap. Supporting Product Owners and teams in achieving agile maturity and effective collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and evolve agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid), ensuring an outcome focus, smooth workflow, and efficient use of time;
- Actively remove impediments, risks, and systemic bottlenecks, promoting continuous improvements in the value stream;
- Support and challenge Product Owners in building clear backlogs, value-based prioritization, and increasing transparency and predictability of deliveries;
- Work on developing the teams' agile maturity, fostering autonomy, collaboration, shared ownership, and continuous improvement;
- Apply flow management practices (WIP, lead time, cycle time, throughput), supporting decisions based on real data rather than empty rituals;
- Promote healthy use of pragmatic agile metrics, ensuring focus on predictability, quality, and delivery capacity;
- Identify, manage, and mitigate dependencies between teams, areas, and vendors, facilitating alignment and effective communication with stakeholders;
- Act as a change agent, supporting leaders and teams in adopting agile practices aligned with the business context;
- Facilitate difficult conversations, mediate conflicts, and align expectations between teams, leadership, and stakeholders;
- Support discovery initiatives and dual-track practices (when applicable), promoting integration between discovery and delivery.
Requirements:
- Scrum, Kanban, and flow management (WIP, lead/cycle time);
- Facilitation, conflict resolution, and team coaching;
- Pragmatic agile metrics (no “theater”): throughput, lead time, defects, predictability;
- Dependency management and stakeholder alignment;
- Experience in environments with multiple vendors;
- Experience with discovery and dual-track (when applicable).
