Job Description

Senior Security Engineer leading architecture, authorization, and remediation for Latitude’s federal health supply-chain software. Fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Own security architecture across a product line, from design through authorization.
  • Set security engineering standards and review designs against them.
  • Lead assessment and remediation of complex findings spanning multiple teams.
  • Advise on risk decisions and put them in terms the business and the customer can act on.
  • Mentor engineers and raise the security bar across delivery teams.
  • Lead security engineering for supply chain and logistics software built for a federal health customer.
  • Carry the technical relationship with the customer's security stakeholders.
  • Work in a hands-on senior role rather than a management track.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of security engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of security architecture for a system or product line.
  • Deep experience with federal security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and RMF, including authorization processes.
  • Hands-on cloud security experience (AWS, Azure or hybrid).
  • Experience leading remediation across teams you do not directly manage.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation (Public Trust).
  • Applicants need to be a US Citizen to be considered for the position and have physically resided in the United States for a minimum of 3 years due to background investigation requirements.
