Job Description
Software Engineer developing and scaling image capture platform at Glacier, a startup tackling recycling issues in LATAM. Building APIs, managing data processing and collaborating with teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software for our edge devices, server infrastructure, and web applications.
- Build and improve the APIs connecting our system components (edge, server, web).
- Design and improve the user interfaces that customers use in our web application.
- Implement, manage, and optimize data processing and machine learning inference pipelines on our servers.
- Troubleshoot problems across the hardware/software stack, from edge devices through the server to the web frontend.
- Collaborate with the team to design new features and solve technical challenges.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of work experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Python for backend/edge, JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend).
- 3+ years developing or consuming APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs).
- Solid experience with backend web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- English Fluency as you will be working with a US based team (B2 or higher).
