Job Description
Senior Software Engineer developing mobile applications for ServiceCore's sanitation industry. Leading architecture and mentoring a cross-functional team in React Native development.
Responsibilities:
- Own the architecture and implementation quality of ServiceCore’s mobile application
- Set the testing strategy for mobile
- Drive mobile-specific technical debt reduction
- Mentor SE1s and SE2s on your pod through code review, pairing, and direct feedback
- Partner with Product and Design on UX decisions
- Lead AI-assisted development on your team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience
- Strong proficiency in React Native
- Solid TypeScript and React fundamentals
- Solid understanding of mobile-specific concerns: offline sync, push notifications, device performance, background tasks, and app store deployment
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)
- Demonstrable ability to architect mobile systems
- Track record of mentoring more junior engineers and improving the technical quality of the team around you
- Comfort engaging with the ‘why’ behind features
